At E.O. Habhegger, we understand that staging and shipping materials efficiently is the foundation of both operational success and customer satisfaction. Although preparing materials for shipment may seem straightforward, we take pride in enhancing this process to make the next phase of the project as seamless as possible.
Our approach goes beyond merely pulling materials and staging them for the next project. We break down each job methodically into sections, simulating how they would be utilized in the field. Our goal? To ensure that when our customers receive their shipment, they can quickly check the materials without having to second-guess what's in each box or pallet.
Breaking Down Jobs for On-Site Efficiency
Every shipment we prepare is organized with the job site in mind. By staging materials logically and based on specific tasks, we help minimize downtime, enabling customers to efficiently check in and allocate materials to the correct sections of a project. Here are some key components we handle and how we streamline on-site work:
Tank Set / Tank Top Components:
The tank field is often one of the first parts of the installation process. We clearly stage and label these materials so that customers can immediately check them in and identify all necessary components, allowing the project to start without delays.
Dispenser Top Components:
Dispenser tops can be complex due to the time required to plumb each sump with the necessary materials. To simplify this, we pre-stage each fueling position with the correct quantity of materials, creating a drag-and-drop installation process at the site.
Hanging Hardware Components:
Hanging hardware is essential but can easily be misplaced. To prevent this, we assign this material to its own pallet, ensuring it remains organized and safe during the project.
Electronic Gauging Components:
Similar to hanging hardware, electronic gauging components are often installed later in the project and are easily lost. To avoid misplacement, we stage these materials on separate pallets for safekeeping until they are needed.
