E.O. Habhegger:
A Century of Industry Leadership

National Distribution and Logistics Since 1927:

Elmer Otto Habhegger and WWII Innovation

The E.O. Habhegger story began in 1927. The company was built on the principle that a distributor should be a technical partner to its customers. This was demonstrated during World War II when E.O. Habhegger developed the portable gasoline refueler. This invention allowed for the rapid and efficient refueling of multiple aircraft in the field. This history of solving complex logistics challenges remains the technical foundation of our operations today.

Second Generation Leadership:
From Ken Hagman to Chris Hagman, E.O. Habhegger is a second-generation family business. The company’s modern era was shaped by Ken Hagman, who instilled a culture of dedication and operational discipline.

Today, his son Chris Hagman serves as President. Chris has spent his entire career at EOH, beginning in the warehouse to learn the inventory and the needs of the customer base firsthand. Under his leadership, the company has grown into a national distribution engine through the strategic acquisitions of Gateway Petroleum Services and Matt’s Valley Petroleum.
