E.O. Habhegger has been calibrating fuel dispensers for over 60 years and is licensed in New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Delaware. We have calibrated and replaced faulty meters in an array of different environments including marinas, government owned depots, airports, commercial businesses, truck stops and retail fueling facilities.
We can assist you with simple one dispenser calibrations right through to bulk fuel oil plants.
In our experience we have found that it is prudent to check meters and properly calibrate your fuel dispensers at least once a year and preferably twice a year to avoid Weights & Measures violations. Any fuel provider should know that State or County’s Weights & Measures officials have the power to condemn (shutdown) fuel dispensers and/or issue fines for violations when they arrive at a site and find faulty fuel dispensers.
The involvement of Weights & Measures is not the only risk associated with faulty meters and/or out of tolerance fuel dispensers. Regularly calibrated fuel dispensers may also bring the following benefits:
* fuel is not unnecessarily being given away at the dispenser so your profits will be protected; and
* slow flow issues and filter changes can be more accurately diagnosed.
