Our History:
Since its inception in 1927, E. O. Habhegger has emerged as a distinguished distributor in the petroleum industry, specializing in a comprehensive range of gas station equipment and fluid handling supplies. With a rich history and expertise, we have become one of the oldest and largest stocking distributors of petroleum equipment in the United States.
During World War II, our contributions to the armed forces were invaluable. We developed and supplied a portable gasoline refueler, enabling efficient refueling of multiple airplanes simultaneously. This innovation significantly reduced vulnerability on the ground. Following the war, our growth trajectory continued as we recruited knowledgeable personnel who helped us become leaders and innovators in fuel and fluid dispensing systems.

Gateway Petroleum Services
In 2017, E.O. Habhegger proudly announced the acquisition of the Service Division of Gateway Petroleum Services.This has been a great fit for each company and their vision for the future.This acquisition expands area and our capabilities and customer base of expert fuel technicians.

Matt’s Valley Petroleum
As of July 2023 , Matt's Valley Petroleum, located in Orefield, PA, was recently acquired by EOH to add their well-regarded service division to our Petroleum Services offerings. This addition allows Matts Valley to continue operating all other facets of their successful business, while EOH takes control of their service division, adding them to the Petroleum Services side of the Habhegger company.

Gateway Industrial Solutions
In November 22, 2023, The E. O. Habhegger Company had the pleasure of our latest addition to the Habhegger family, the New Jersey Branch of Walter's West End Supply in Branchburg, NJ. This new location will be the base for our Commercial and Industrial Division. The division will operate as Gateway Industrial Solutions and be managed by industry veteran Brett Omelianuk. Brett and the existing staff will continue to provide their dedicated sales and support to their clients.
